Welcome to Gay Haven.NET Adolescence can be difficult enough at times, but for gay youth their differences often leave them feeling isolated and confused. Born into a culture that assumes everyone to be heterosexual, gay and lesbian youth often lack the acceptance, understanding and support their heterosexual peers receive. Society's ignorance and negative views of homosexuality leave many gay and lesbian youth feeling confused, ashamed, guilty, afraid and alone, placing them at greater risk for suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, and sexually transmitted diseases. It is Gay Havens goal to provide gay / questioning / bi / straight teens a safe haven with lots of INFORMATION, SUPPORT, RESOURCES, PERSONALS, PICTURES, and CONTACTS... It's not the easiest thing in the world to be gay, and it helps to know that there are others out there. Just so you know THIS IS NOT A PORNOGRAPHIC SITE!!!
